Between class on September 21 and September 28, we would like you to take note of the literacy activities you participate in as a literate member of society. You can jot your activities in the diary below or you can open the attachment and record you activities and save the word document on your computer.

Directions for editing (Or adding your activities to this page):

1. Click the edit tab on the far right of the page (Above the ads)
2. Place the cursor in the correct box and click
3. Type in your information
4. Repeat steps #2 and #3 until all information is entered
5. When finished, click save in the "Editor" tool bar at the top of the page

If you need to add more rows to the table, go to the last column and row on table and hit "tab". A new row will appear in the table.

9/22	Sue	read aloud	read aloud to my class after lunch, Maniac Magee	classroom	myself and 26 students	had to read the book with fluency and meaning to class while pausing frequently to check for comprehension
9/23	Sue	deposit $ in checking account	deposit slip,pen, checks,	my car	myself	needed to be able to read the amount on checks to be deposited, transfer amounts onto deposit slip, sign checks and fill out slip correctly
9/23	Sue	ordering lunch for myself and co-workers	menu, computer, paper, pen	school	myself and 5 co-workers	had to get online and find the restaurant menu on their website, print off menu, read to make sure that the restaurant delivered, record everyone's order , call phone number listed on the menu, and read order to restaurant staff.
